REVIEW: Iron Man 2

NOISE POLLUTION

At one point towards the end of Iron Man 2 Pepper Potts (Gweneth Paltrow, looking emaciated) tells Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr., dishy and cocky as ever) “My body just cannot take this stress anymore.” He has rescued her, moments ago, from the clutches of the robots that antagonist Ivan Vanko (Mickey Rourke, a menacingly cool villain) has specially designed to destroy him. She echoes my sentiments about the brain-numbing, excessively loud and relentless action that makes Iron Man 2 difficult to enjoy.

REVIEW: Iron Man 2

ROBERTO, OH ROBERTO!

Iron Man is so sexed up in this sequel, if it were Come September, every woman in the audience would want to be Gina Lolobrigida and would go, 'Oh, Roberto!' each time Robert Downey Jr was in the frame. And every young man in the audience who sees Scarlett Johansson on screen will repeat after Tony Stark, 'I want!'

 
That out of the way, get set to enjoy the fun ride that is Iron Man 2.
