Scorching Winds: #GarmHava
The remarkable M S Sathyu post-Partition saga, Garm Hava is now playing at select PVR cinemas and at the Matterden CFC. The film was the great actor Balraj Sahni's swan song, and was adapted by Kaifi Azmi and Shama Zaidi from a story by Ismat Chughtai.

saw the digitally restored #GaramHawa looks like a new film, but came out feeling disturbed at how relevant the old subject remains even now
@bhawanasomaaya Ma'am, 'Garm Hawa' even in 1973 couldn't get buyers, such films despite their merits, always find limited audience favour.
What a pity that a film like #GaramHawa #restored with so much #difficulty and #money has not been #encouraged by the #audiences.
