I was in love with Lamhe and Darr. Although i liked veer zaara, but the background score marred the wholesome seriousness rani's character was portraying. If you listen to the signature tune for Rani's character in the movie, it sounded exactly similar to the title of tele epic Kahani ghar ghar ki's title track "rishton ki pooja jahan ho...".
I was totally amused that having Madan Mohan's miraculously melodious tunes, how can he allow such a cranky background score! did no one one his team watched the overly-stretched daily soap?
Well, this is just a small factor that did not go down well with me.
Yash ji is an icon. I hope jab tak hai jaan will relive his original magic, and more hopefully, aditya chopra doesn't intervene much with his sub standard ideas about romanticism. I still wonder on what basis Katrina was chosen for the movie!!!! She's another threat to the muvi, which cud have done wonders with another heroine of Caliber. But since Yash ji is in command, i hope she ACTS this time.
